Beach of El Muelle

Playa del Muelle

This beach is sheltered from the wind by the pier itself. This beach has an area of round pebbles and sand, especially at low tide. It is a quiet and familiar beach with easy access where you can swim relaxed while enjoying the views of Tamadaba, Guayedra and Roque Faneque. The part of the dock is also a meeting point for many locals who take advantage of the benches to chat quietly and take a relaxing bath.

Along the dock there are three access areas to the water, these are stairs that lead directly to the water. The end of the pier is also a springboard for the youngsters who jump into the water from the top of the pier.

From this beach you can also see the Finger of God, a rock of basalt stone that rises in the oldest geological area of Gran Canaria.

Small and quiet beach, sheltered enough for a swim. Unfortunately water was cold in February. There are small boats, beautiful red crabs sunbathing on the rocks, stung views and good restaurant right beside.

A fantastic beach for children and adults. Dark, pleasant sand with stones encourages the construction of castles, fortresses, planes and other wonders. Thanks to its dark color, the sand heats up quickly, so you can sunbathe even on colder days. Thanks to its location at the end of the road, you can enjoy an empty beach. We visited the beach several times in February and three times we were the only beachgoers. At high tide the entire beach is flooded.
