The hostel has a Lounge area near the reception job, a Canarian patio, kitchen, toilets and a great terrace to relax. Eco-Friendly Manipa Hostel is located in the center of Agaete, for us, the most beautiful city of Gran Canaria. We have natural pools, amazing beaches, mountains, natural parks and plenty of places that only locals know.

Our house is 200 years old and is a typical Canarian house with patio and an amazing terrace overlooking Tamadaba Natural Park. It has been renovated using sustainable materials (as much as possible) and above all we have created furniture crafted from recycling. We are concerned about the environment and we want to make your stay here as enjoyable as possible and at the same you to be aware of the care of our planet and our environment.

We can also teach you the only place in Europe where coffee is grown in the shade of papayas, mangoes and avocados as well as the nearby organic farm where we can buy some fruits and organic vegetables. All of this is in an excellent environment … take a look at our pictures and you will know what we are talking about.

We are located right in the central square of Agaete. It is a strategic site because from here you can visit the most interesting places on foot or with our free bikes. There are beaches, natural pools and lots of hiking trails to the Tamadaba Natural Park with some of the highest cliffs in Gran Canaria. There is also one of the best Vias Ferratas in Europe called „La Guagua“. And if you want to catch waves, the best spots are located only 10 minutes driving from the Hostel.
